At Lothersdale Primary School, safeguarding is a priority, and we are fully committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all our pupils in line with the statutory guidance set out in the Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSiE) document.

  • Lucy Bateman serves as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)
  • Melanie Tyson is the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL)
  • Al Weekes holds the role of Safeguarding Governor, overseeing our safeguarding policies and procedures.


Together, we work diligently to protect and support our students, promoting a safe and nurturing environment for all.
