Odd Socks Day - Anti-bullying week

This year, Anti-Bullying week takes place in mid-November. The week begins with 'Odd Socks Day' on Monday 15th November, and on that day we will be inviting all children to come to school wearing odd socks.

This will help raise the awareness of the central theme for this year, which is 'one kind word' - the idea being that one kind word can lead to another, and another, and another...

We will be talking to the children during the week about the importance of being kind to each other. This is something our children do really well, but it never hurts to have a little reminder and a pat on the back to acknowledge what we do well.

If you'd like to join in with your child, you could always sing along to this year's song from Andy and the Odd Socks by following this link to the official video on YouTube.
