To help the children learn our tricky words we have a clever password pad on our door. It works like magic, by allowing children into and out of our class if they read and say the tricky word on the handprint.

The password pad has been very popular - especially when Mrs Gallagher couldn't get into our class as she was saying the wrong word! The children thought this was very funny.

Everyone in Class 1 has made their own password pad for use at home. The children were keen to put them on their bedroom doors.

Each pad coming home has a set of tricky words to cut out and use.
