Eshton Grange Day 3

Another fantastic sleep by all. Last night the last person drifted of by 10:15 and everyone was tucked up and fast asleep until 6:30 this morning without any issues. Another lovely morning with the sun shining began with breakfast. The same as yesterday, cereal, toast and bacon sandwiches were on the menu. All the children ate a really full breakfast making a great start to the day. It was then time to pack up and clean our dorm rooms. Without fuss, everyone got on with packing their suitcases and stripping down their beds, impressing all of us adults. Packed lunches made, it was time to go and visit the animals on site. We were able to feed and stroke lots of animals with the favourites being the alpacas and holding the guinea pigs. Some of the children definitely made some new friends! We then sat down to have some delicious chocolate brownies kindly made by Mrs Fawcett. Currently all the children are enjoying their final swim before lunch. There’s lots of laughter and smiling faces. After lunch, we will have a final little walk and a play before setting of back to school. Every child really has been a delight to have here and we have seen them grow so much over such a short time.
