Today we have been learning all about the digestive system of a human. We used crackers and bananas to represent the food we eat and orange juice to show the stomach acid. It got very messy but we really enjoyed ourselves. We have learnt some new words including: oesophagus, stomach, ileum, colon, intestine, faeces and peristalsis.
