Well, the day didn't start as planned as we sadly had to say goodbye to Sam and Jonty who had been ill overnight; it was such a shame for them and their friends as they missed out on a full day of outdoor activity.

After a full breakfast we set off for a day out at Ingleton. We had a wonderful walk at Ingleton Waterfalls before stopping for a well-deserved ice cream at the top. We then walked over the stepping stones and headed towards White Scar Cave for lunch and a guided tour of the cave system.

We then returned to Eshton and had a lovely meal cooked by Mrs Binns and Miss Laycock, before spending time splashing around in the heated swimming pool again.

The children have been amazing today and have once again been a real credit to our school.  Well done, everyone.
