The Maths evening held in school on Tuesday 24th November was well attended by parents of children from each of the year groups in Classes 3 and 4. The feedback received by Mrs Robinson and Mr Wheatstone was very positive, and it seems that the session gave both a useful oversight of the new maths curriculum and some 'handy hints' as to how parents can best support their children's maths learning.
We very much want to provide parents with the help and information they need, especially in maths as it is an area of the curriculum that many adults feel less confident in. Below is a copy of the Powerpoint used on the evening, but if you would like any other documents or guides then please ask us and we'll do wahtever we can.
